The world's major religions, through their holy books: Hinduism's Vedas, Upanishads and Puranas; Islam's Holy Koran; Buddhism's the three cannons in Tripitaka; Judaism's Torah and Christianity's Holy Bible all discourage scientific discourse regarding their teachings. Except for Hinduism's first Veda book (which some date back 1.3 billion years, and others 4,000 years), the origin dates of mostly all of these holy books fall in the range of two to eight thousand years ago.
Christianity, Islam and Judaism are Semitic religions which trace their beginning back 5,000 years to Abraham. Islam's Holy Koran was delivered by Muhammad in 680 AD. Christianity's New Testament originated with Jesus, 2,000 years ago. Moses is credited with writing Judaism's Torah which is also the first five books of the Holy Bible (Old Testament's Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy).
Although religion in some form is practiced by most of the world's population, religious righteousness has been the cause of historic nightmarish bloodshed and grief. Intolerant religious passion is pervasive in human life today, and shows no sign of abating. Even now, missionaries and holy war are busy in planet Earth!
While other religious and spiritual books are thousands of years old, "God's Continuing Word - A Personal Message" is a product of today's generations. Non-Religious, the book delves in both physical and spiritual life. Its message is profound, powerful and fitting for today's peoples.
